There is alot of adventure that is waiting to be had at Deep Space 84. The year is 2385 and the current commanding officer is Vice Admiral Patrick McCrag, to act as a Chief of Fleet Operations within the Delta Quadrant for the Phoenix Federation. It is of cardassian design, but after an experiement went wrong, the station was took to the Delta Quadrant. Luckily it is in one piece, and damage repair teams were sent to it straight away before it was then made the home of the new Remington-class vessel.
The station, with its many small buisnesses on the promenade, including Gnark's Trades, Prosper Hollow, Patty's Bar, orbits the planet Talaxia, where some of the species have returned to rebuild their society and with the station's protection, there is a strong relationship between the two.
There is many things that people can do on a station, and unlike a ship, it has bigger holodecks and has many services to facilitate your needs, including a bar to drinks, holodecks for fun, or simply looking at the grand ships that come and go. Often, there is an away mission where you may be involved in a ship as they enter the final frontier.

With the cure and simulation done, all that is left is the "after effects" which is completely upto you. So time to do some wrapping up before we move to 2389!

DS84 Birthday: April 4th
Yeah it's already passed, but thought I'd show you all how long we have been around and how this station alone, has survived many months and now is the only station in Phoenix Fleet, so I am very proud of you all, especially with those who have stuck with us from the very beginning!
Apr 09 (6 excluding logs) May 09 (8 excluding logs) June 09 (23) July 09 (25) Aug 09 (18) Sept 09 (11) Oct 09 (16) Nov 09 (4) Dec 09 (12) Jan 10 (16) Feb 10 (17) March 10 (17) April10 (16) May 10 (7) June 10 (23 so far...)
As you can see, we have dropped some months, but have been able to stand, and ocne this mission is over, DS84 will be upgraded and new ideas will be implemented to improve this simm even more!
Even if you wasn't here from the beginning, it does not matter. As a valued member of DS84, if you have any mission ideas, suggestions, or whatever that could help DS84, then PM me, and I shall implement it into the simm. A simm is not a simm without its members.

May and First half of June will be pretty hectic with exams but I am still here to pull strings even with my laptop still out of commission.
I must stress that if you do need help to let me know, as I'd like to see some posts.
McCrag is still w/ Hornady with the CO there to see what creew he can get together for the Battle Simulation then I shall be at New Terra until this virus issue has been solved.
so....how about Science and Medical working together to find a cure perhaps. If your character is in sickbay with the virus, then use an NPC. Surok(McCrag's NPC) is still avaliable at Prosper Hollow if you need a drink.

I see 7 saved JPs, and I'd like to see these moving.
If anyone wants to JP with me - Surok, Toran, John Adamans - Feel free.
We have 9 posts so far, so we need 6 more and each of these 7 on average have 2 posters, so getting these done would get us 23!
Remember the post minimum of 4 a month. if you haven't done this, please get this done asap, as I will need to hand in my report in 5 days. With my laptop down, it is pretty hard so only way I can contact you is on the site or via email, so please help me out by getting some of these posts done.
I will also do write up the Battle Simulation for the Remington so Patrick can move to New Terra where I can get some posts done as Hornady has gone quiet unfortunately. If people are away like Nathair(U'sek/Gnark/Zephire) who is on LOA and Adrian Telan(who have not heard from) then NPC them and get your JP finished. If you would like me to NPC, then let me know.

There has been a problem that has infected my laptop.
I am looking into a way to solve it but this will mean that I am unable to help offline.
Only way I can help is site-based, i.e. answer jp's and pm's
